Writers' and Editors' Workshop 2008 |
In May 2008, eight Zulu speakers and six English speakers were selected to attend the NRP Writers’ and Editors’ workshop at the Salt Rock Hotel.
The course included
o Structured creative writing
o Introduction to various types of fiction
o Exposure to features of good stories
o Clarification of characteristics of easy to read text
o The use of simple language
o Writing exercises and practise
o Editing exercises and practise
Five stories in each language will be selected to be published in 2008.
